In celebration of American Public Works Week, the Cobb County Department of Transportation will host a Touch A Truck event on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Cobb County Civic Center.

The event is free and open to the public, offering families a unique, hands-on opportunity to explore a variety of transportation and public works vehicles up close. Children and adults alike will be able to climb into trucks, meet the people who operate them, and learn more about the vital role public works plays in the community.

This family-friendly event is part of a nationwide effort to recognize and celebrate the contributions of public works professionals.
