Earth Month 2025 Recap
The Cobb County Office of Sustainability / Keep Cobb Beautiful kept Cobb busy during Earth Month 2025!
We kicked off Earth Month early on March 29 with Commissioner Sheffield's District 4 Earth Day Cleanup. This annual event brings together the office of Commissioner Monique Sheffield, the Cobb County Office of Sustainability / Keep Cobb Beautiful, and volunteers from Cobb County and beyond to help clean up and beautify Cobb County. This year's event focused on litter pickup, community garden beautification and planting, and senior citizen yard cleanup and beautification.
At this year's event, we welcomed over 400 volunteers, collected 8,970 pounds of trash, and helped clean up and beautify multiple senior citizen yards and a community garden, making this year's event our largest and most impactful.
