Discovery Stage Company presents a new musical adaptation of The Ugly Butterfly at North Cobb Regional Library on Thursday, October 30 at 4PM!

Adapted from the children’s book by local, professional writer Jessica Rosa Espinoza and illustrator Carol Lynn Mitchell comes a brand new musical for elementary audiences. The Ugly Butterfly takes us on a journey of self-discovery with a young caterpillar whose egg was displaced in a storm. With a beautiful score by composer Katie Berger Wood and lovable characters who’ve jumped right off the pages of the book, audiences are invited to uncover details about life cycles, meet new friends from within and beyond their habitats, and celebrate the differences among us that enable our ecosystem to thrive.
