Cobb County Elections and Registration is aware of congestion at the Thompson Community Center polling place and is actively working to assist voters and improve traffic flow.

Additional resources have been deployed to the site to support voters and manage traffic around the location.

“We appreciate the patience of our voters and our partners assisting on site,” said Michael  D'Itri, Acting Elections Director. “Our goal is to ensure every eligible voter can cast their ballot.”

We encourage all voters at Thompson Community Center to remain in line until they have voted. Voters who are in line by 7:00 p.m. will be allowed to cast their ballot.
