- When are the upcoming elections in Cobb County?
Tuesday, November 4, 2025 - Municipal General/Special Election - PSC
- Municipal General for the incorporated cities of Acworth, Austell, Kennesaw, Mableton, Marietta, and Powder Springs
- Special Election is statewide for Georgia Public Service Commissioner (PSC)
Tuesday, November 18, 2025 - Special Election - State Senate District 35
- Only registered voters in State Senate District 35 are eligible to vote in this Special Election
- How do I know if I’m in Senate District 35?
- Check your district information on the GA My Voter Page at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov
- Why is there a separate election for State Senate District 35?
- Due to the resignation of State Senator Jason Estevez, Governor Kemp called this Special Election to fill the open seat
- When is Advance Voting for both elections?
November 4 Municipal General/Special Election - PSC

- Tuesday, October 14 – Friday, October 31
- Early voting is available at any open Advance Voting location
November 18 Special Election – State Senate District 35
- Monday, October 27 – Friday, November 14
- Early voting is only available at the Advance Voting location at Taylor-Brawner House in Smyrna
- Where are the Advance Voting locations?
- You can find Advance Voting information on our website at www.cobbcounty.gov/elections
- Can I vote early for both elections at the same Advance Voting location?
Yes, but ONLY at Taylor-Brawner House
- You can vote early for both the November 4 and November 18 elections at
Taylor-Brawner House from Monday, October 27 – Friday, October 31
7. Can I vote for both November 4 and November 18 elections on the same ballot?
No, they are separate elections

- Where do I vote on Election Day?
- You must vote at your assigned polling location

November 18 Special Election – State Senate District 35
- Temporary polling location updates for the November 18 Special Election will be made after the conclusion of the November 4 election
- Refer to the GA My Voter Page at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov after November 4 for your polling location
- How do I know if there will be a runoff election?
- Runoff elections are held when no candidate wins the required majority of votes. Refer to https://www.cobbcounty.gov/elections for confirmation of any runoff elections
November 4, 2025 - Municipal General
- Runoff, if needed, will be December 2, 2025
- There will not be a runoff for the Special Election - PSC
November 18, 2025 - Special Election - State Senate District 35
- Runoff, if needed, will be December 16, 2025
Reminders:
- If you don’t have a valid photo identification card to vote, you can get a free Georgia Voter ID at Cobb Elections or any Department of Driver Services (DDS) location.
- Absentee Ballots must be received by 7PM on Election Day.
- On Election Day you must vote at your assigned polling location, open 7AM – 7PM.
