A Public Review Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 11:15 a.m. to receive comments on the appropriation of interest income from the United States Department of Justice Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG) for Fiscal Year 2022.

Cobb County’s 2022 JAG program has accumulated a total of $4,290.39 in interest income.  JAG funds and any subsequent interest earned are considered program income and can only be allocated to subrecipients funded during the 2022 grant year.

The County is recommending JAG program interest be allocated to the following:  Cobb County District Attorney's Office - $4,290.39

Per JAG requirements, all 2022 grant funds and interest income must be expended by September 30, 2025 to close out the grant.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD:   Tuesday, June 17, 2025 - Friday, July 18, 2025
